Applied Improv with Bad Dog Theatre

1 hr

Hosted

Your team has been remote for a while now, and people are starting to come back into the office but things aren't quite gelling like they used to? Applied improvisation uses performance techniques and applies them to non-performance scenarios to help people adapt, grow and learn together in a fun and engaging way, all while saying "Yes, And". It helps teams share laughs, new experiences, and puts everyone (safely) a bit outside their comfort zones to explore how to return to a state of playfulness, which naturally breaks down barriers between us as we get to let our sillier sides out to play! How often do you get to really let loose as an adult?

This experience can run from 60 minutes to a full day! Let us help your team get back to work together!

FAQS

How are participants engaged during this event? What kind of interaction can my team expect?
Our improv classes are completely hands on - we explain the exercises and games and then your team lets loose! Our instructors are there to facilitate if things get off-track but the fun is in your team learning and playing together!

How often/much will participants be interacting with the host? Will the host be available during the entire event?
The host/facilitator is live with you the entire time! We utilize breakout rooms online, and in person we all are in the room together so you will have constant access to your facilitator if you need it.

How will this build more connection between my team members?
In this workshop, you will learn to foster a ‘Yes, And’ mindset and explore how to return to a state of playfulness, which naturally breaks down barriers between us as we get to let our sillier sides out to play! How often do you get to really let loose as an adult?
Much of the workshop will be spent in interactive exercises designed to get you trying something new, seeing a new side of the people that you work with, and getting to know how we can make our work environment more fun and playful!
